My name is Lydia Martin and I am an Certified Yoga Instructor based in Rock Hill, SC. I currently teach a number of regular classes at Synergy Yoga and Wellness in Rock Hill, including Mixed Vinyasa, Mindful Hot Flow and Slow Flow. Current Schedule:
Mixed Vinyasa: Tuesday 4:30-5:30 PM
Mindful Hot Flow: Thursday 6:00-7:00 PM
Slow Flow: Friday 4:30-5:30 PM

Yoga Stretch, Fridays at 12pm, is a combination of body-awakening movement, calming breathwork, and longer holds to help your body move more efficiently. You don't need any yoga experience for this practice! Just bring yourself and maybe a friend 🩵✌️

Garuda mudra invokes the energy, spaciousness, and freedom of the eagle. Feeling overwhelmed or trapped? Channel the energy of Garuda and cultivate a feeling of inner freedom and strength.

In Sanskrit, the word garuda means “eagle." (Think garudasana, eagle pose.) In Hindu mythology, garuda mudra represents the mighty bird Garuda, who transported Lord Vishnu (the lord of preservation) in ancient texts. Garuda was a large, powerful eagle with expansive wings. He was a mighty eagle, able to explore the skies and move freely about the universe.

Practice Garuda mudra, channel the energy of the soaring eagle ✌️🩵🦅

This is a class for anyone who is seeking to develop strength, coordination, and flexibility.

More than just an exercise class, this hour long practice brings together body awareness, breathing exercises, and plenty of movement to get the heart pumping.

We’ll use yoga props, alongside body-weight and mobility exercises to stretch and strengthen your body without pounding your joints. Let's get you feeling all those muscles you didn't even know you had!
