I have the honor of knowing so many amazing midwives all over the world and in all kinds of settings! They constantly inspire me. The system has been trying to eradicate my life throughout history. Grateful for these women who continue to stand up for mama's!

Midwifery does not need "modernization"! Midwifery needs traditional, roots, autonomy, physiology and Obstetrics trying to take it over. There are many religious groups who have their own traditional midwives. Not one stake holder listed in this article (see comments) are traditional midwives or CPMs. The people regulating these midwives are trying to force them to conform to a system they are not part of and do not want to be part of. Shame, shame, shame! Please, spread the word and call the governor ASAP.

So you will take down educational content, but leave up bikini photos and cleavage? This reel had been shared hundreds of times, was a high engagement post, and is far less graphic than many birth videos. Breech Birth has been in the shadows too long. This platform is vital for families who don't have options for vaginal breech birth or are seeking information. Shame on you! I've been trying for 2hr to submit to the oversite board, but unsurprisingly, it is on a continuous "log in to continue" loop that no amount of password changes, link requests, etc will fix. DO BETTER! Families deserve access to information and education!

BREECH WATERBIRTH

This beautiful birth was mom's second baby and second homebirth.

The practitioner was at the house 13 minutes before the baby arrived. Watch how beautifully this mother reaches down and receives her own baby.

Listen to how beautifully the practitioner is explaining what is happening since this presentation was not anticipated!

This breech was undiagnosed and the practitioner is VERY experienced in breech and multiples and still missed the presentation prenatally by her own admission. This is why breech training is important - even if you don't plan to attend them, BREECH HAPPENS!
