On Monday, July 27, Palmetto Free Clinic had the pleasure of welcoming Atrium Health SVP Roy Hawkins, Quanisha Savage, MHA, Strategist of Community Engagement, along with other Atrium Health executives for a tour of our clinic.

We were proud to share the impact PFC is making in our community and how Atrium Health’s continued partnership helps us provide quality healthcare to uninsured adults in York and Lancaster Counties.

We are incredibly grateful for Atrium Health’s continued support through in-kind services, specialty care, screenings, and monetary donations. Partnerships like this allow us to continue removing barriers and connecting our patients to the care they need.

What an Amazing Day at Palmetto Free Clinic!

Today we proudly hosted our very first Project Pink Mammogram Screening Event!

A huge thank you to Atrium Health Levine Cancer and Charlotte Radiology for providing free mobile mammograms to our uninsured patients, and to FIT4Life for offering free colorectal cancer screenings on-site.

These incredible partnerships help bring life-saving preventive care directly to those who need it most. As the only free medical clinic in York County, we are grateful to continue working with organizations that are committed to improving access to healthcare for our community.

What a wonderful surprise today!!!!!!

Today, Dr. Donald W. Shuler stopped by the clinic, and it truly made my day. He was out volunteering and, as always, continuing to give back and serve others. That’s just who he is.

It was great to see him and have the opportunity to introduce him to our Volunteer Internal Medicine physician, who is now caring for some of the patients he faithfully served for so many years.

Dr. Shuler has been with Palmetto Free Clinic since the very beginning. His compassion, dedication, and heart for serving others helped build the foundation of this clinic, and his impact will never be forgotten.

Thank you, Dr. Shuler, for your years of service, your continued support, and the difference you’ve made in so many lives. You will always be a part of the Palmetto Free Clinic family. We are forever grateful for you. 💚

What an amazing day at our Community Health Fair today!!!! 💚💙

Thank you to everyone who helped make our very first Community Health Fair as Palmetto Free Clinic such a success. We were able to connect with so many people in our community, spread awareness about our services, and welcome many new patients.

A special thank you to Linda from Welvista for helping keep our patients connected to free medications and supporting our clinic.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, staff, partners, and community members who came out today. This is why we do what we do — removing barriers and connecting our community to healthcare at no charge. 💚
