A $5 MILLION lawsuit — claiming the hospital failed to protect its own staff. This nurse was attacked by a patient while trying to protect a coworker. Healthcare workers shouldn’t have to risk becoming the next patient just for doing their jobs. Workplace safety in healthcare has to be taken seriously. 🏥🩺

According to charging documents, a patient hit the pregnant tech in the stomach while she was informing him of treatment procedures. Full story in the comments.
