📚️🖌️✂️ BACK TO SCHOOL DONATION DRIVE 🖍️📏✏️

We are organizing a ✨Back to School Donation Drive✨ for our Rock Island County youth and teen clients!

We understand that some may struggle to buy all the necessary school supplies, so we’d like to do our part to help them start the school year off successfully.

If you are interested in making a donation, below is a list of items we are looking for. Even if you aren't able to make a donation, we would greatly appreciate help in spreading the word and sharing this post!!!!!

✨ Donations can be mailed to or dropped off at our Hilltop location (2202 18th Avenue, Rock Island)

✨ Donations are needed by early to mid-August

School Supplies:
🔹Kleenex boxes
🔹Child-size scissors
🔹Rulers
🔹School year planners (basic, not fancy)
🔹2-pocket plastic folders w/prongs (color) **Plastic, not paper folders**
🔹3-ring binders
🔹Notebooks (wide ruled)
🔹Pencil pouches and boxes
🔹Glue sticks and bottles of glue
🔹Pencils (old school sharpened pencils)

✨ Cancer Support Community Iowa & NW Illinois at Gilda's Club ✨

So no one faces cancer alone – Cancer Support Community is a place where men, women and children whose lives have been touched by cancer, as well as their families and friends can feel they are part of a welcoming community of support. Since 1998, more than 5,000 individuals and families have visited their Clubhouse in either Davenport or Moline or their outreach in Muscatine and Clinton.

Their goal is to increase the health and well-being of people impacted by cancer by increasing social interactions, giving a sense of control, and increasing feelings of hope and community. They accomplish this through their evidence-informed program of support groups, educational workshops, healthy lifestyle activities, social connections and providing resources and referrals, all at NO COST to everyone who participates.
