We had a great time at the Lyon County Fair!

Our Sanford Rock Rapids Clinic booth was a fun stop for kids and families throughout the fair. Young fairgoers enjoyed creating a Sanford Fit craft inspired by Tucker the Turtle, taking photos with our Sanford-themed face cutout, and showing off their Sanford crowns.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit, create, and connect with us. We love being part of events that bring our communities together and help make lasting memories for local families.

Sanford Rock Rapids had a wonderful time at the Rock Rapids Heritage Days Parade! It was a beautiful morning to be out in the community, and we loved connecting with everyone along the route. Events like this are a great reminder of how special our hometown is.

During the visit, a provider will evaluate your child’s overall health, listen to their heart and lungs, and review injury and concussion history to ensure they can safely participate throughout the year.

A huge thank-you to everyone who contributed to our recent food drive!

With school letting out soon, the Mid-Sioux Opportunity Food Bank will be in especially high demand—and one of their most requested items is macaroni and cheese. Our patients and staff truly stepped up to meet the need!

Sanford Rock Rapids community liaison Sara Schmuck and nursing supervisor Marla Jenniges delivered the donations to Amy De Groot, Mid-Sioux Outreach Coordinator. Sanford also collected a great supply of shelf-stable milk to help make those meals even easier to prepare.

Looking to add a healthy twist to a this family favorite? Try these simple tips:
• Add tuna, chicken, and vegetables to turn mac and cheese into a hearty hotdish
• Swap milk and butter for blended cottage cheese (about ½ cup) for a creamy, protein-packed alternative

Stan Lupkes knows her as his sister – and his hero.

Tracy made the decision to give up one of her kidneys to give the gift of life to her brother, who was diagnosed with kidney disease three years ago.
