WNA was in DC in June speaking with Senator Barrasso, Senator Lummis and Representative Hageman about the importance of creating safer workplaces with the Workplace Violence Prevention for Health Care and Social Service Workers Act. This federal legislation is important - but so is legislation in WYOMING. We have supported legislation for stiffer penalties against those that harm healthcare workers. Legislators have failed to pass this important legislation. We will continue to work to protect nurses. Remember that when you vote this election.
