We are incredibly thankful for such an amazing donation to our community! ❤️
Thanks to this generous gift, our residents now have access to a wonderful variety of birthday cards, thinking-of-you cards, greeting cards, envelopes, extra envelopes, and even a beautiful card cart to display them all.
Now our residents can enjoy “shopping” for the perfect card to send to someone special. We provide the stamps, and they are able to mail their letters independently — something that may seem simple, but means so much.
Acts like these help support dignity, independence, connection, and joy for our residents. Being able to choose a card for a loved one or friend gives them an opportunity to express themselves and stay connected to the people they care about.
The Activities Department is always incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community members and loved ones who walk through our doors asking how they can help meet the needs of our residents.

Today, our kitchen staff has been hard at work preparing a special Memorial Day BBQ spread in honor of those who gave so much for our country. 🇺🇸

From cheeseburgers fresh off the grill to homemade broccoli salad, pasta salad, green bean salad, and plenty of desserts, we’re grateful to share good food and fellowship while remembering the meaning of this day.

Last week, we had the opportunity to hear from Matt Tuttle. He has spent the last 10 years guiding for crappie full-time and competing on the Crappie Masters pro circuit, traveling across the country to tournaments in places like Florida, Texas, and Oklahoma.

His passion for fishing and the outdoors was evident throughout his presentation, and we appreciated him taking the time to share his experiences with us.

To make the afternoon even more fun, we enjoyed dirt pudding with worms during the presentation! 🎣🪱

We want to give a huge thank you to Panther Cubs Corner Daycare for such a fun and meaningful activity! 🌸🌼

Together, we planted potted flowers, and the daycare generously provided all of the flowers for this special event. Our residents truly enjoyed spending time with the children, hearing their laughter, sharing stories, and teaching them along the way.

We are so thankful for this partnership because it does more than provide an activity — it creates beautiful relationships between generations and brings so much joy to our residents and the youth in our community. ❤️

We typically host activities like this on Fridays from 10:00 AM–11:00 AM and always enjoy opportunities to connect with children and families in our community. 🌻
