University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford Residency Program Family Medicine Residency Program Through the UI Health Mile Square Health Center – L.P.

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford Family Medicine Residency Program provides each resident the benefit of unopposed clinical experiences, exceptional opportunities for obstetrical care and innovative educational programming through multidisciplinary techniques. Johnson Rockford, the award-winning SwedishAmerican Hospital and other affiliated community health care partners, the Rockford Family Medicine Residency Program provides outstanding graduate medical education. Since the program began in Rockford in 1972, more than 300 family medicine residents have been trained through the program who now practice family medicine and various subspecialties in Rockford, throughout Illinois, across the nation and around the world.
