Here is the Celebration of Life information for VIM's own dear Sandy Morse, who passed away last month after a courageous, lengthy battle with cancer. Sandy was on the VIM's board, also serving as treasurer for more than 25 years.

The celebration is in the Candlewick Lake recreation center. Enter the gated community at the Hwy 76 main entrance and tell the guard you are going to the Sandy Morse Celebration of Life service.

Finally made it out to Blackhawk Courts Farm & Garden to deliver our check for Farmers Rising - Roots & Wings CSA representing your donations through our Pay It Forward Reusable Bag program. You saved over 5,000 bags from the landfill which translated to a donation of over $500 to sustainable, organic farming located at the Blackhawk Courts housing development. A portion of the crops from the farm (primarily grown in the high tunnels) goes toward CSA shares and another portion of the farm is dedicated to vegetables the residents can use to feed their families.

We are all about fresh, local food, so we are proud that our customers choose to support this organization. 🫶🏼
