Earlier this year we did a hands-on cooking class for patients and community members who were interested. It went well and we had a great turnout.

Now, it's time to offer a hands-on cooking class for eye care providers! If you live in the Grand Rapids, MI area and are an eye care provider, then this opportunity is for you!

Being certified in the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, I have taken the opportunity to integrate the pillars of lifestyle medicine with my treatment plans. As eye care providers we have a unique opportunity to gain insight into our patients' lifestyles in a way they may not share with other providers. This class will teach the eye care provider how to integrate their clinical knowledge of visual health with the cornerstone of Culinary Medicine and the whole body approach of Lifestyle Medicine.
