Children struggle with the same sense of loss and sadness adults do. This past month at our Hearts & Hooves Children’s Grief Camp, we had the privilege to support some amazing kids on their grief journeys.

Hearts & Hooves helped campers understand their emotions, share their experiences, and develop coping skills.

He’s hanging up the stethoscope! He turned off his cell phone!

After an illustrious medical career, including seven years as a physician with Northern Illinois Hospice, Dr Loyd Wollstadt officially retired on July 30th.

We celebrated Dr Wollstadt with a breakfast - and our heartfelt gratitude and best wishes.

Enjoy your retirement, Dr Wollstadt! You certainly earned it.
