Pretty exciting to see this in print! 🙏

I’m honored to be featured in the Summer 2026 edition of RVC Bridge Magazine in an article titled “A Veteran’s Path to Healing at RVC.”

My journey from serving as a U.S. Marine, to discovering a new path in massage therapy, to building Inner Light Wellness, and providing therapy at Bodycraft Wellness & Massage Center, has taken me places I never expected. I’m incredibly grateful to Rock Valley College, the Massage Therapy Program, my instructors, and everyone who has supported me along the way.

Sometimes a new chapter begins when you least expect it. I’m proud of where this path has taken me and excited for where it’s going next.

The magazine is out now, and you can also read my story online:

I am super honored to be featured by RVC! 🙏

As a U.S. Marine veteran, Bret Ressler was looking for a place where he could grow, learn a new profession, and still make a difference. Rock Valley College became that place, where he not only discovered the education he needed, but also a community that believed in him.
