Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or boring. At Rockford Weight Loss we focus on eating real food that fuels real results! Try this easy recipe below 👇

Garden Fresh Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

• 1 cup fresh spinach
• 1 green apple, cored and chopped
• 1 celery stalk, chopped
• ½ cucumber, sliced
• ½ cup unsweetened coconut milk
• ½ cup cold water
• Ice, if desired

Directions:

Add coconut milk and water to the blender first. Add cucumber, celery, apple, and spinach. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Makes 1 serving.

Tip:

For a thicker smoothie, add extra ice. For a lighter smoothie, add additional water. The natural sweetness from the apple balances the freshness of the greens without adding sugar or artificial ingredients.

Remember: We encourage eating your fruits and vegetables whenever possible. Smoothies are best used occasionally for convenience, not as a replacement for Whole Foods.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or boring. At Rockford Weight Loss we focus on eating real food that fuels real results! Try this easy recipe below 👇

Sheet Pan Chili Ginger Orange Chicken and Broccoli

A one-pan wonder! Tender chicken and crisp broccoli roasted to perfection with a zesty chili, ginger, and orange glaze. Perfect for a quick, flavorful dinner with minimal cleanup!

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 cups broccoli florets
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup freshly squeezed (by you) orange juice
2 tbsp Bragg’s Amino Acid
1 tbsp raw honey
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together fresh orange juice, Bragg’s Amino Acid , raw honey, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.

Place chicken breasts and broccoli florets on the sheet pan. Lightly spray Pam cooking spray and pour the orange-ginger sauce over everything. Toss broccoli gently to coat.

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through (165°F / 74°C) and broccoli is tender-crisp.

Enjoy straight from the sheet pan!
