Postpartum physical therapy shouldn’t be optional — it should be mandatory.

Your 6-week OB check clears you medically. It does not assess how your body is actually functioning after pregnancy and birth.

💥 Pelvic floor weakness or overactivity
💥 Core and abdominal dysfunction (yes, including diastasis)
💥 Back, hip, and pelvic pain
💥 Leaking, pressure, or pain with movement
💥 Poor strength and breathing coordination

These aren’t “normal postpartum things” — they’re treatable.

Working with a postpartum physical therapist means a full-body assessment, pelvic floor and core evaluation, and a clear plan to rebuild strength safely and confidently.

This is what we mean when we say 1:1 physical therapy.

Your athlete isn’t being handed a generic program and rotated through a busy clinic.

They get an entire session focused on them — their sport, their goals, their movement, and the things keeping them from performing at their highest level.

Maybe they want to get faster.

Maybe they need to build strength and explosiveness.

Maybe they keep dealing with tightness, soreness, or small injuries that never fully go away.

Maybe they just want to feel more confident stepping onto the field, court, track, or ice.

That’s where we come in.

Every session is individualized based on what your athlete needs in order to move better, train harder, recover well, and perform stronger during their season.

We’re not just focused on pain.

We’re focused on helping athletes build a body that can handle the demands of their sport long-term.

And because sessions are 1:1 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy, your athlete gets constant coaching, feedback, and progressions every step of the way.

This is physical therapy designed for athletes who want more than just “getting by.”

One of the hardest parts of your child getting injured isn’t just missing games or practices, it’s wondering how they’ll feel when they finally return.

Will they trust their body again?

Will they hold back?

Will they be nervous to cut, jump, sprint, or make contact?

A good physical therapy plan should help answer those questions before they ever step back onto the field or court.

Rehab is about so much more than just decreasing pain or getting “cleared” by a doctor.

For athletes, PT should prepare them for the actual demands of their sport again — building strength, improving movement, restoring confidence, and helping them trust their body under pressure.

That’s why we focus on progressive rehab that meets athletes where they are and gradually prepares them for the movements they’ll need when the season starts back up.

The goal isn’t for your child to return cautiously, the goal is for them to return confidently
