Ive stepped out of my comfort zone and interacted a lot more during this class. It was so much fun. Huge Thank you to Dr. Steven Glover. For making this all happen. Thank you to each and everyone who showed up.

This race meant even more to me knowing it helped support our veterans.

As someone who has the privilege of serving veterans through my work, this one was extra special.

Here’s what I earned after my first 4-mile run.

It may have taken thousands of baby steps, but I’m grateful for every one of them.

I took those steps kicking, screaming, crying, and sometimes crawling. But every step mattered.

Every time I walk past this wall, I smile and breathe a sigh of relief, knowing this is only the beginning. The beginning of something I’ve worked incredibly hard for.

There were times I wanted to quit. Times I doubted myself. Times I wondered if all the effort was worth it.

Looking back now, I can honestly say it was.

To anyone standing at the edge of a dream, wondering if you should take that first step—take it. You don’t have to have it all figured out. There are good people willing to help along the way.

Never give up on your dreams.

If I can do it, so can you.
