Our residents at The Waters of Rockport recently enjoyed a sweet outing to Fat Daddy’s for some cold treats, followed by a stop at Grandview City Park to soak up the beautiful day.

Yesterday was , so of course we couldn’t let the week go by without celebrating some of our residents’ favorite furry visitors at The Waters of Rockport!

For , Birdie Beans, Honey Bun, Binx, Sugar, and Bowen come by to share plenty of cuddles, tail wags, and unconditional love — and our residents absolutely LOVE their visits. 🐶🥰

They may have four paws, but they’re a very special part of our Waters family. Happy belated National Dog Day to our favorite therapy pups! 🐾❤️

Our residents at The Waters of Rockport always enjoy some live music, and the Marry Hearts Band is always a favorite. 🎶❤️

Our residents and staff love hearing them play, but their recent visit held a little extra meaning. The band recently lost one of their members—someone our residents had grown close to and always looked forward to seeing.

Together, the band and our residents spent time remembering their friend, sharing memories and celebrating the kindness they brought to so many lives. We’re grateful for the music, the memories, and the special friendships that have formed along the way.

Today feels a little less sparkly. 💔✨

Dolly Parton gave the world a lifetime of music, laughter, kindness, and joy. Her songs became the soundtrack to so many lives, including those of generations of residents throughout The Waters.

We’ve sung along to her music, danced to her songs, dressed up in her honor, shared stories about her, and made more than a few wonderful memories along the way.

Today, as we look back on one of those fun-filled Dolly days at The Waters, these photos feel just a little more special. 🤍

Dolly, thank you for the music. Thank you for the laughter. Thank you for the generosity, the rhinestones, the big hair, the bigger heart, and all the joy you shared with the world.

Today we say goodbye, but we also celebrate one incredible life and a legacy that will live on for generations.

Rest in peace, Dolly. 🦋✨
