I am 1 in 5. No family should face postpartum mental health struggles alone.

This Maryland bill would help ensure birthing mothers are screened earlier and more consistently, so fewer people fall through the cracks. Waiting six weeks for an OBGYN screening isn’t enough—appointments can be missed, and too many mothers suffer in silence.

I know because I did. I stayed quiet when I should have asked for help and trusted my gut. Never again.

Let’s make sure no mother is missed. Thank you to the Senators leading this effort. Thank you to the resilient woman like Kyra, Mikah and PSI MD. Thank you to my family for helping me get the support and care I needed to get to where I am today.

Maryland—let’s stand up for families.

This is my 3rd year leading The Climb in support of Postpartum Support International (PSI) — a nonprofit helping families (big and small) facing mental health challenges before & after a baby is born.

🍼 Perinatal Mental Health Disorders (PMHDs) are the most common complication of pregnancy & childbirth:
➡️ 1 in 7 moms
➡️ 1 in 10 dads
Too many suffer in silence. PSI offers peer support, trains professionals, and runs a national helpline to connect families to care.
