Our co-founder Rayetta Michael had a great time visiting our friends at Maryland Addiction Recovery Center last week! We are so grateful to have them as a community partner and we’re always impressed by the sophisticated clinical care they provide to individuals and families struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring trauma.

Last week, we welcomed our friend and colleague Rayetta Michael, founder of Help in the Home, for a visit to MARC. Rayetta toured our clinical space, met on-site staff members, and spent some time with MARC co-founder Zach Snitzer and Business Development Representative Samantha Hawes. Help in the Home, LLC, based in Rockville, Maryland, provides personalized care through support and community to help adults with complex mental health needs achieve stability, independence, and inclusion. MARC appreciates the services that Help in the Home can offer to our patients with more complex psychiatric disorders.

At Help in the Home we believe that everyone deserves a full life, including people with schizophrenia. We know that with treatment, there is hope. Unfortunately, due to the flaws in our mental health system, so many people with complex needs are not able to access the resources they need.
