You handle a lot. You are exausted. You are driven. You hold a thousand balls in the air and it feels like any of them could break at any moment.

I get it. On top of it, your marriage feels boring, or empty. There is no connection, no spark.

So, working on the marriage feels like another task, an impossible thing.

Why won't your husband do it? Is he the one at fault? Stop waiting for other people to guess what you need. Be clear about what you want. Ask for it. No judgment. No guessing. No mind reading.

Ladies, we all need positive interactions. Sometimes the most faithful love shows up in the mundane. The man who takes out the trash, shows up after a long day, works without complaint. It can feel like he is just doing "what an adult does".

Yet, that's not quite how we need to see things.

Appreciation isn't just for the big "asks". When a man feels seen in the small things, he gives you more of himself. This means that you feel closer. So, compliment the consistency. Compliment the obvious. Receive compliments for the obvious.
Your words have power in your marriage. Use them. 💛
