Todays activity is about perspective. The colored dots represent the event and the different things the dot can become represents different perspectives on that event.

Perspective shifting is a useful skill because it helps:
• Build empathy
• Lower unnecessary guilt and shame
• Helps with understanding
• Allows us to grow

We are rewriting the narrative that our perspective has!
• Our friend canceled plans because they are tired and didn't sleep well. They dont hate us or are tired of us. Weve had to cancel before too.
• Our partner is upset because we said something that hurt them. That doesn't mean they dont love us, but it does mean they're upset with us and our actions
• Our parent is fearful that we will get hurt if we travel to another state by ourselves. Its nit that they dont trust us and they just want some reassurance.

Sometimes taking another's Perspective is hard, especially when we feel hurt by the person. Note that we are allowed to feel hurt, and also understand why they took the action they took.

So take perspective, shift the narrative, rewrite the story.

Dress for Success: More Than Just Appearance

What you wear to work can have a powerful impact on how you feel, how you perform, and how others respond to you. Dressing well isn't about expensive clothes or following every fashion trend—it's about presenting yourself intentionally and with confidence.

Research shows that when we put effort into our appearance, we often experience:
✨ Increased confidence and self-esteem
✨ Greater motivation and productivity
✨ Improved focus and professionalism
✨ More positive interactions with coworkers and clients

The way we dress can influence our mindset. When we feel put together, we're more likely to approach challenges with confidence and engage more effectively with others. This concept, often called "enclothed cognition," suggests that our clothing can affect our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Dressing well can also strengthen relationships by:
✔️ Demonstrating respect for yourself and others
✔️ Creating positive first impressions
✔️ Enhancing trust and credibility
✔️ Encouraging more confident communication
Remember, "dressing well" looks different for everyone. The goal isn't perfection—it's choosing clothing that helps you feel comfortable, capable, and confident in your role.
Small intentional choices each morning can set the tone for your entire day.
Ask yourself: What message does my appearance send about how I value myself today?
For support with confidence, self-esteem, and personal growth, we're here to help.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Raising Great Teens Starts Today

As parents, we're not just raising teenagers—we're raising future adults. The goal isn't perfection; it's helping our teens become independent, respectful, and confident people who can navigate life successfully.

✨ Try These Parenting Strategies:
✅ Give Responsibility, Not Just Rules
Assign meaningful chores and responsibilities that build accountability.

🎯 Let Them Make Decisions
Allow age-appropriate choices so they can develop confidence and problem-solving skills.

💬 Model Respect Every Day
Show the communication and behavior you want them to practice with others.

🛑 Set Clear Boundaries
Consistency helps teens feel secure while learning self-discipline.

🌱 Praise Effort Over Perfection
Celebrate persistence, growth, and resilience—not just achievements.

🤝 Teach Accountability
Help them own their mistakes and learn from them rather than avoiding
consequences.

👂 Listen More Than You Lecture
Teens are more likely to open up when they feel heard and understood.
🚀 Encourage Healthy Independence

Give them opportunities to solve problems, advocate for themselves, and build confidence.
The small lessons you teach today become the character traits they carry into adulthood.
