We are so thankful for the great May we've had. This year has started off so well. We trust that June will continue the trend. We have 4 events planned for June: The Spring Farm Fest in Gold Hill on June 7th, Vintage Market Days June 12-14 at the Cabarrus Arena, Second Saturday's Maker's Market June 13th in downtown Kannapolis, and The NC Blueberry Festival in Burgaw on June 20th. Busy, but so much fun! Hope we will get to see many of you at one or more of these events.

Today we said goodbye to our sweet Bambi at the ripe old age of 15.
She was the one who started it all — the goat who taught me and my kids how to milk, always with the patience of a saint.
Bambi was the matriarch of the herd and ruled the girls with an iron hoof. Nobody stepped out of line when she was around. Yet despite being boss lady, she was always the first to walk up in the pasture, looking for cuddles and attention.
She leaves behind a legacy bigger than we can put into words, and our pasture will never feel quite the same without her.
We will miss her greatly.

We had a busy beginning to May and are so thankful for how each event gave us the opportunity to share our products with not only our regular customers, but many new ones as well. We started off May at the Spring Folly in Kernersville, the following Saturday we were again in Kannapolis for the Second Saturday's Maker's Market Mother's Day event, and this past Saturday we were able to join in on the fun at the Cheerwine Festival. June will be even busier, but we are excited for each event. It is always so much fun talking with folks. Stay tuned for more info!

Worried about parking for the Cheerwine Festival, they've got you covered with a shuttle service. Check out this map which gives you the remote parking and shuttle locations. The free shuttles run from 9:45 a.m. to 8 p.m., arriving approximately every fifteen minutes. Come out and enjoy all the neat things going on this Saturday. Don't forget to drop in and see us!
