This week is National Black Infertility and Reproductive Health Awareness Week.πŸ§‘πŸ€ŽπŸ–€

For Black women navigating infertility, miscarriage, pregnancy loss, fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis, or other reproductive health challenges, connecting with organizations that provide support, education, advocacy, and community can make all the difference.

We're grateful for these organizations working every day to provide education, advocacy, community, and hope:

🧑 Fertility for Colored Girls provides education, emotional support, and financial assistance for treatments like IVF and surrogacy.
🧑 The Broken Brown Egg builds community and representation for Black women navigating infertility.
🧑 Sister-Girl Foundation Inc-Empowering Women with Endometriosis and Cancer offers resources and support for those facing endometriosis and other reproductive health challenges.

If you're looking for information, community, or simply reassurance that you're not alone, these organizations are a wonderful place to start.

Every family-building journey deserves support, understanding, and access to quality care. 🧑 🧑

If you're like a lot of guys, you've gotten really good at being there for everyone else. πŸ’―

You're the one people call when things go sideways. The one who keeps it together so others don't have to. And somewhere in all that showing up, your own health quietly slipped to the bottom of the list.

You matter in this too. Not just as the supporter, the provider, the rock.

Your wellbeing is woven right into the family you're hoping to build, and looking after yourself isn't selfish. It's part of the process.

And the good news? It doesn't take some dramatic overhaul. πŸƒ

A little more sleep. A daily walk to get those steps in. Finding ways to reduce stress. Finally booking that checkup that's been nagging at the back of your mind. Just start with one small step.

If somewhere along the way you've found yourself wondering about your fertility, we're here to help. A simple evaluation can clear up so much, and no matter what it tells you, you won't be facing any of it alone.

With practices across our network, there's expert, compassionate fertility care closer than you might think.

Wherever you are, whatever you're feeling, we're ready to help you take that first step. πŸ’™

Sometimes the family building journey can get a little sticky. 🍩

Today, give yourself permission to slow down and enjoy something sweet.πŸ˜‹

Whether you reach for a classic glazed or a gluten free treat, pick whatever feels good for you.

Little treats like this don't come around every day, and you've earned it!

Last month, Lisa Rosenthal, Patient Advocate and our Director of Content and Strategy traveled to Washington, DC as part of Advocacy Day during RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association's Month of Action.

This wasn't her first rodeo! Lisa has been advocating for reproductive rights and fertility care as well as volunteering for Resolve for 38 years!

She sat across from members of Congress advocating for the Bipartisan IVF for Military Families Act and the HOPE with Fertility Services Act, legislation that would ensure cost and coverage are no longer the reason someone cannot build their family. 🧑

She went because at First Fertility, we are determined to fight for everyone in this community who needs that support.

Getting started in advocacy doesn't require a law degree or a trip to Washington. It starts with knowing the issues, knowing who represents you, and being willing to say: this matters to me enough to fight for it.

Whether you are navigating infertility, building your family as an LGBTQ+ person, or pursuing parenthood by choice, the policies being debated right now directly affect your path.

Interested in advocacy? Here's where you can start:

🧑 Contact your lawmakers. A short, personal email or phone call carries more weight than most people realize. Legislators track constituent outreach, and real stories from real people shape how they vote.

Not sure who your legislators are? You can find them in seconds at usa.gov/elected-officials

🧑 Share information. Reposting a fact, sharing a statistic, or simply telling someone in your life about your experience reaches people that advocacy organizations cannot always get to on their own.

🧑 Sign an action alert. Several organizations make it easy to send a message to your representatives in minutes, and it takes less time than scrolling your feed.

And if right now is not your time to speak up, that's ok.

If you are in the middle of a cycle, grieving a loss, or just trying to get through the day, you do not have to feel pressure to carry this too.

We will keep showing up, sharing your stories, and fighting for the access you deserve, because your story matters even when you cannot share it out loud.

We are grateful to stand alongside RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, State Strong, and the many advocates we are honored to call our community.

This community has fought hard for every win it has earned, and we are not stopping now.πŸ’ͺ

Welcome to Pride Month, and happy June 1st! πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

Today we're also celebrating LGBTQ+ Families Day.

Dana Rudolph of Mombian created this day to honor families built on deep love and devotion, after she and her partner navigated the challenges of establishing parentage to have their son more than two decades ago.

The road to parenthood holds extra hurdles for LGBTQ+ families, and yet your perseverance shines through every step of the way.

The sheer dedication it takes to grow your family means your children will always know, without a doubt, that they were wanted and hoped for.

As a fertility practice, we have a front-row seat to how families come together, and we witness the same truth every single day: love makes a family. 🩷

All month long, we'll be sharing pride themed content to celebrate, because we believe honoring LGBTQ+ families means more than hanging rainbow flags in June.

We're committed to that work all year.

Across our practices, that looks like using inclusive language on our forms, offering clear guidance through the legal and emotional layers of family building, and providing tailored options like fertility preservation.

On behalf of the entire First Fertility team, happy Pride!πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

Grateful and honored to celebrate Dr. Guerrero from Fertility Specialists of Texas
The focus of research that is being done is more than numbers and statistics. It's about helping people build their families. Making it easier for them. Making it happen more quickly.
Because no one wants to wait when they're trying to build their families and have hit a delay.
Research supports people, improving fertility treatment and advancing the goal of having a baby.

πŸ™πŸŽ—οΈ This Memorial Day, First Fertility pauses to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are deeply grateful for their sacrifice and for every freedom they fought to protect, including the freedom to build a family in the way we each see fit.

We also recognize that building a family is not always easy for those who serve. TRICARE, the health insurance most military members rely on, does not cover IVF or many other fertility treatments.

That means active duty service members, reservists, and veterans are often left paying out of pocket for care that can cost tens of thousands of dollars.

Add to that the disruption of deployments and frequent moves, and the path to parenthood can feel especially hard for the people who have already given so much.

Across our network of practices, we do our best to support the military families in our communities, from The Center for Advanced Reproductive Services to Fertility Specialists of Texas, Fertility Centers of New England, Fertility and Surgical Associates, The Fertility Institute, Invia Fertility Specialists, MCRM Fertility, NewLife Fertility, and RMA Long Island IVF.

Many of our centers offer dedicated military discounts on IVF and fertility treatments, reduced medication costs, and access to programs like the EMD Serono Compassionate Corps.

We are also grateful for the work of the Building Military Families Network, and are honored to stand beside RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association in supporting the Bipartisan IVF for Military Families Act, legislation that would ensure equitable TRICARE fertility coverage for those who serve and have served.

You have given so much for all of us. We are honored to give back in any way we can.

πŸ’› Help us honor the brave today. Leave a comment below in memory of a loved one who served, or tag a military family you are grateful for.

At First Fertility, our greatest measure of success is the families we help build πŸ’™

We are incredibly proud to announce that four of our partner practices have been recognized by Newsweek as America’s Best Fertility Clinics for 2026!

This honor is a reflection of the unwavering dedication, clinical excellence, and deep compassion our teams bring to work every single day. But more than that, it is a tribute to the patients who trust us with their most profound hopes and dreams.

Join us in celebrating these outstanding centers:
Fertility Centers of New England (FCNE)
MCRM Fertility
Fertility Specialists of Texas (FST)
Fertility and Surgical Associates (FSAC)

To the physicians, embryologists, nurses, and support staff across these practices: thank you for showing up with expertise and heart. You are the reason so many journeys end in joy.

And to our patients: your resilience inspires everything we do. This recognition belongs to you just as much as it belongs to us.

Here is to continuing our mission of making family building accessible, compassionate, and successful for everyone.
