We had the pleasure of welcoming and onboarding 34 Junior Volunteers this week! These students are now supporting departments throughout the hospital and are already making a difference.

They’ll be with us all summer and will also lead a community service project at Bryant T. Aldridge Rehabilitation Center. Stay tuned to learn how you can support their efforts and follow along with their impact!

Each year, departments across our hospital team up to create incredible baskets in celebration of Hospital Week.

Staff members had the chance to vote for their favorite baskets and purchase additional raffle tickets for $1 each. Together, we raised an incredible $3,874 for Patient Assistance. Patient Assistance provides critical support like medication, transportation, and medical equipment to help patients safely recover and heal at home after discharge.

We’re so grateful to everyone who created a basket, purchased raffle tickets, and joined in the fun while supporting our mission. Your generosity truly makes a difference for the patients we serve every day.

Did you know that April is National Volunteer Month?

Today, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible volunteers who give their time, talents, and hearts to support our patients, staff, and community. Whether they’re welcoming visitors, supporting fundraising events, assisting with programs, or lending a listening ear, our volunteers play a vital role in helping us provide compassionate care close to home. Last week we hosted a small brunch to recognize their efforts!

Their generosity creates meaningful moments, strengthens our mission, and reminds us that kindness truly makes a difference. We are deeply grateful for every hour served and every life touched. Thank you for all you do!
