Through their annual Pretty in Pink IV Drip campaign, they have raised more than $2,700 to support local cancer patients and cancer initiatives through UNC Health Nash Foundation. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and today we are proud to kick off the 2026 Power of Pink Campaign benefiting UNC Health Nash Foundation.

This year's campaign will help fund a heated robe warmer for the Breast Care Center, providing comfort and warmth for patients during screenings, imaging appointments, and procedures.

Last year, Power of Pink supporters helped provide mastectomy kits, Knitted Knockers, and patient assistance for transportation, medications, medical equipment, and other essential needs.

Every dollar raised stays local, helping patients in our community receive the care, comfort, and support they deserve.

Join us this month as we celebrate survivors, honor those we have lost, and come together to make a difference in the lives of local patients.

Recently Wyatt Phillips was awarded and presented a Quilt of Valor from a former Cardiac Rehab patient that represents a local organization that creates quilt to honor those that served in the military and further have served their community well. Wyatt has faithfully volunteered for UNC Health Nash for over 20 years in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab department. We are grateful for his service to this country as well as UNC Health Nash!
