Ten years ago, Cleveland Health and Wellness Center started with three offices and a waiting room in Rocky River — chairs pulled into a circle, shared snacks, and a simple goal: build a place where great mental health care doesn't depend on your zip code or your paycheck, and where the clinicians providing it can do the work they love without running themselves into the ground.
A decade later, our practice has grown into a second office in Beachwood, care for clients from early childhood through older adulthood, 30 licensed therapists, two board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, six administrative professionals, and more than 8,000 individuals supported across over 160,000 sessions.
We added expanded benefits for our team — 401(k), PTO, continuing education, health insurance — because taking care of the people who take care of others has always been part of the plan. None of this happened alone: it belongs to our therapists who hold space for people on their hardest days, to our doctors who built the psychiatry department, to our administrative team who quietly make everything else possible, to the referring providers who've trusted us with their patients, and to the families and partners who've absorbed the late calls and hard days right along with us.
We're not perfect, and we're still learning — but we've built something genuinely good: a place where people arrive struggling and leave with more hope than they came in with.
This is what ten years looks like. We can't wait to see what the next ten bring.
