I never served. My ancestors fought in the Revolution and the Civil war (one Union, one Confederate) My Papa Ray was in Korea.

I have so many people, that I have adjusted, that have served. If I could name them, I would. WWII, Vietnam, Korea, Desert Storm, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Covid. Some have come home with visable scars from battle. Some are plagued with with health issues from the work they did.

Saying Happy Memorial Day doesn't really sound right. May you have a great Memorial Day with your friends and family. Thank you Veterans for making us what we are today!

Just a heads up, I'm going to leave the office at 4pm today. Don't want the kids to be home alone if we have severe weather. Weather.com shows it is coming in at 5.......hopefully it is a big ball of NOTHING.
