💜 September is National Su***de Prevention Month 💜
This month is a reminder that mental health matters, conversations matter, and checking in on the people around us matters.
Sometimes someone who is struggling doesn’t “look” like they’re struggling. A simple “How are you, really?” can open a door they desperately needed.
💜 Listen without judgment.
💜 Take conversations about su***de seriously.
💜 Remind people they are valued and loved.
💜 Encourage professional support when it’s needed.
💜 Don’t be afraid to ask directly about su***de if you’re concerned about someone.
If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of su***de, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. If there is immediate danger, call 911.
At RoMo Direct Primary Care, we believe caring for your health means caring for your mental health, too. You matter. Your story matters. And asking for help is always okay. 💜
