🌞 Beat the Heat: Prevent Heat Stroke!

Hot weather can be dangerous, but a few simple steps can help keep you safe:

💧 Drink plenty of water—even if you don’t feel thirsty.
🧢 Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing and a hat.
🌳 Stay in the shade or air conditioning during the hottest part of the day (10 a.m.–4 p.m.).
😎 Take frequent breaks if you’re working or exercising outside.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked car—not even for a minute.
👵 Check on older adults, neighbors, and anyone without air conditioning.

⚠️ Know the warning signs: Confusion, dizziness, hot dry skin, rapid pulse, or loss of consciousness can be signs of heat stroke. Call 911 immediately—it is a medical emergency.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and stay safe this summer! ❤️☀️
