Our goal is to help you be healthy, strong, and pain-free. We have created an environment where a patient’s unhealthy patterns are accounted for in both the short and long term. We believe it’s important that each patient understands their own body, so that they might have a greater understanding of what it means to be healthy. We believe that lasting change only occurs when one embraces responsibility for one’s own health. It is our responsibility to treat the patient as comprehensively as possible by keeping up with the flux of health care research, newest treatment options, and best practices in the industry. Treatment will be aimed at promoting balanced strength, maximized performance, and optimum vitality. We use a unique and dynamic system of examination, analysis, and treatment to achieve this. Patients are treated using a variety of manual therapies, nutritional therapies, rehabilitative exercises, and lifestyle interventions.

Feel tight? You might not need more stretching. You might need more strength. 👇
You can stretch a tight muscle over and over again, but if it keeps coming back, it’s worth asking why is it tight in the first place?

Sometimes, that tightness is a response to how you’re moving, compensating, or holding yourself. If one area isn’t doing its job well, another muscle may be working overtime to pick up the slack — leaving you feeling tight, restricted, or uncomfortable.

That’s why we don’t just look at the muscle that feels tight. We look at the whole movement pattern — your strength, mobility, coordination, and how everything is working together.

Sometimes the answer isn’t stretch the tight muscle more.
It’s strengthen what isn’t working well. 💪

If you’re constantly stretching the same area with little lasting change, it may be time to look at the bigger picture.

Huge congratulations to everyone who took on the Madison IRONMAN this weekend! 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Months of training, early mornings, long miles, and plenty of work went into getting to that finish line. What an accomplishment! 👏

And for those still in the thick of training: nagging aches and injuries don’t always mean you have to stop. We can help you address what’s holding you back so you can keep training toward your goals.

Keep moving. Keep training. We’ll help you get there. 💪

🏃‍♀️ Marathon training is a lot of work. Your body shouldn’t be the thing that stops you from getting to the start line.

As mileage ramps up, it’s not uncommon for aches and pains to start showing up—or for an old issue to make an unwelcome comeback.

The good news? You don’t necessarily have to press pause on your training.

At Inertia, we work with runners to help address pain and movement limitations while keeping your training goals in mind. Whether you’re dealing with a nagging ache, a new injury, or just feel like your body isn’t keeping up with your training, we’re here to help.

And if the Chicago Marathon is on your calendar… it’s not too late. 👟

Pain is important. But it’s not the whole picture.

When you come to Inertia with pain, we want to know more than “where does it hurt?”

We want to understand how you move, how your body handles load, your strength and coordination, your everyday habits, how well you’re recovering, and what you actually want to be able to do.

Because two people can have the same pain and need completely different approaches.

Our goal isn’t just to help you feel better today—it’s to help you understand your body, address the things that may be contributing to your symptoms, and build a body that can keep up with your life.

Pain relief is part of the process. Better function is the goal. 🤍

Healthy habits don’t have to be complicated—or extreme. 🙌

The biggest improvements in your health often come from the small choices you make consistently, not from chasing the latest trend or following an all-or-nothing approach.

Whether it’s taking a short walk after dinner, getting enough protein at breakfast, or prioritizing quality sleep, these simple habits can have a lasting impact on how you feel and function.

Remember: consistency beats perfection every time.
