Hi everyone! I wanted to share a couple of wonderful opportunities happening this month for Middle and High School Students in northwest Georgia, hosted by Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center, Blue Ridge Area Health Education Center, and Georgia Highlands College!
Healthcare Discovery Camp (Grades 5-8 / June 10-12, 2026)
Come join us for three days of fun, hands-on exploration of the world of healthcare! Activities will be led by a diverse group of professionals from a variety of healthcare settings. Featured careers include: Nursing, Emergency Care, Pharmacy, Respiratory Care, Athletic Training, Dental Hygiene ... and many others!
Healthcare Exploration Camp (Grades 9-12 / June 22-25, 2026)
Come join us for four days of interesting, hands-on exploration of careers in healthcare! This camp is a great way for students who are interested the healthcare industry to learn and experience a variety of roles, and to prepare for the next steps in their education journey. You’ll learn about Nursing, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, Genetics and much more! In addition, we will spend a day at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center visiting the Laboratory, Radiology, Surgery, Respiratory Care, Emergency Care and IP Rehabilitation departments at the hospital.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
