Hi, I'm Kristi along with my husband Nick, and we are the owners and operators of this small veteran owned business in Romeo, Michigan. Air Force after devoting 20 years of service to this great country. I loved being part of the military, along with my husband who also served for 6 years, but I knew that eventually it would come to an end and I would have to find my next path in life. I have alwa

ys had a passion for health, fitness and nutrition, and consider myself a lifetime student when it comes to all things health and fitness related. I studied Health and Sports Sciences and earned a Bachelor's degree specializing in exercise science. Tea has been a daily ritual for me for quite sometime so making my own blends based on things I have learned just kind of fell right into place as a next step for me. I hope you love all the blends I have created as much as I do! Sourdough has become my recent passion and I am so excited to share it with you. It is becoming increasingly hard to find good quality food at the grocery store which led me to making my own :)

Ready to start making sourdough at home? ๐Ÿž

One of the biggest hurdles for beginners is establishing a healthy starter. That's why my Sourdough Starter Kit includes dehydrated starter from my own active culture, along with the essentials you need to begin your sourdough journey.

Instead of starting from scratch and hoping your starter develops properly, you can rehydrate an established starter and get baking sooner.

The biggest difference is time.

Most grocery store bagels are made quickly with commercial yeast, while sourdough bagels are fermented slowly. That longer fermentation develops deeper flavor, a better texture, and the classic chewy bite that bagel lovers are looking for.

And when you make them at home, you're not limited to plain flavors. Fresh blueberries baked right into the dough create little bursts of sweetness in every bite.

The result? A bagel that's soft on the inside, chewy on the outside, packed with flavor, and honestly hard to compare to anything that comes in a plastic bag from the store.

Usually it's a sign that something in the process needs adjustingโ€”not necessarily that your doing something wrong or the dough is ruined...but just a small tweak ๐Ÿ˜‰.

Hydration, gluten strength, fermentation, and temperature all matter.

If you don't know or follow me, I'm Kristi ๐Ÿ‘‹ and I run a cottage bakery from my home in Romeo, MI offering organic sourdough baked goods. My menu changes each week and is normally updated on Fridays. I bake weekly offering local pickup on Thursdays at Full Circle Meals or F45 Shelby 26 Mile.

Summer Baking Schedule!

Hello Friends ๐Ÿ‘‹ Just wanted to give you a heads up, for the months of June and July, I will switching to my summer schedule and only taking pre-orders every other week. I do still plan to drop off bread at Full Circle Meals on Tuesday, which is first come first serve. Make sure to save this post so you can reference back to the weeks I'm taking orders if needed.
