Hi everyone! I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who works full-time in a school setting with an entire caseload of AAC users. I provide monthly trainings to my student’s parents and one of the biggest things I hear from them is:
“We understand it when you explain it… but once we get home, we don’t know how to make it part of everyday life.”
That’s exactly why I’m starting AAC parent coaching/consulting this summer.
My goal is to help families confidently incorporate AAC into real-life routines like meals, playtime, outings, bedtime, and everyday conversations, in a way that feels natural and manageable.
I provide support with:
• AAC implementation at home
• Natural language modeling
• Building confidence using the device
• Making communication functional and meaningful without pressure or perfection
This is not about turning your home into therapy all day long — it’s about helping communication happen naturally in the moments you already have.
