Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate Speech Therapist to help residents strengthen their communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities while achieving their highest level of function and quality of life.
✨ Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem opportunities
💰 $81,900–$87,750 annually ($42–$45 hourly equivalent)
🎉 Sign-on bonus up to $7,500
🕗 Schedule: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

REQUIREMENTS:
✔️ Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
✔️Active New York State Speech Therapist/Speech-Language Pathologist license required
✔️Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
✔️Knowledge of communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
✔️Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
✔️Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

RESPONSIBILITIES:
▪️ Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
▪️ Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
▪️ Provide skilled therapy services and monitor resident progress
▪️ Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents and families
▪️ Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and recommendations
▪️ Maintain accurate documentation, assessments, care plans, and progress notes
▪️ Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and discharge planning activities
▪️ Ensure compliance with all regulatory, clinical, and facility standards
