๐Ÿ’š Menโ€™s Mental Health Awareness Month

For many men, strength has traditionally been associated with staying silent, pushing through, and carrying burdens alone. But real strength can take many forms.

It can look like asking for help, opening up to someone you trust, setting healthy boundaries, taking time to heal, and choosing to prioritize your mental well-being.

This month, letโ€™s continue breaking the stigma around menโ€™s mental health and create space for honest conversations, support, and understanding. If you are struggling, reaching out is a sign of courage, not weakness.

๐Ÿ’™ Peer Support | Meeting People Where Theyโ€™re At

Peer support plays a vital role in recovery by helping people feel seen, supported, and less alone as they navigate treatment, housing, employment, healthcare, court systems, and other life needs.

Our latest story release highlights the impact of peer support at Adapt, including the work of Direct Service Peer Jason Cornutt and the many ways peers use lived experience, compassion, advocacy, and hope to walk alongside individuals in recovery.

๐Ÿ’š Mental Health Awareness Month | A Reminder as May Comes to a Close

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to share a simple reminder: it is okay to not be okay, ask for help, take a break, say no, and not know what comes next.

Mental health matters beyond the month of May. Continue checking in with yourself and the people around you, making space for rest, and reaching out for support when you need it.

You are not alone, and support is always worth asking for.

๐Ÿ’š Mental Health Awareness Month | Daily Reminders

Supporting your mental health can start with small, intentional choices each day. Simple practices like setting boundaries, practicing gratitude, making time for self-care, and doing activities that bring joy can help reduce stress and support overall well-being.

It is also okay to not feel okay sometimes. Be kind to yourself, give yourself permission to rest, and reach out for support when you need it.
