My Tuesday Reflection

Today, I am reminded that home care is about so much more than paperwork, schedules, and assessments. It’s about people. It’s about showing up when someone needs hope, reassurance, and compassion.

As I walked toward the door of a new client, carrying a small welcome basket in one hand and my admission folder in the other, I realized that what I was really carrying was the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.

As I looked down and saw my shadow walking ahead of me, I thought about the impact we leave behind. We may never fully know how one conversation, one smile, one act of kindness, or one visit can change a person’s day—or even their life.

Today, I’m grateful for another opportunity to serve. All praise to God .
