Yesterday's Mid-Year Meeting activities concluded with the always popular Chairman's Reception. The reception offers the perfect time to reflect on the meeting, acknowledge our retiring colleagues, and celebrate all that is to come for the rest of the year.

Day two of ACPA's Mid-Year Meeting brought opportunities for engagement and collaboration as our funcational committees and government affairs committee held their meetings. ACPA also solicited additional feedback from our members through the Committee Structure Forum. Our members bring so much to the table, getting to hear what they are thinking is one of the best parts of the Mid-Year Meeting.

Yesterday evening, we wrapped up an exciting first day of the Mid-Year Meeting with our always exciting Welcome Reception! It was a wonderful evening of connection, conversation, and collaboration, bringing together industry leaders and attendees from across the community. To wrap up day one of the Mid-Year Meeting, the Emerging Leaders Group, with some additional attendees, took a tour of St. Marys Cement's Charlevoix plant where they gained a behind-the-scenes look at modern cement production. At the same time, another group of attendees enjoyed an on the water view of the Grand Traverse Bay - thanks to our sponsor Ecobeton-USA.

The first day of ACPA's Mid-Year Meeting was packed with informative presentations, networking opportunities, and plenty of fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

The morning began with a welcome message from ACPA Board Chairman Patrick Cleary, Amrize, and an inspiring presentation from ACPA Foundation Chair Sarah Bazey, American Highway, on the work of the Foundation's recent accomplishments. Attendees then moved into the first of three detailed workshops on Quality Construction featuring ACPA's Sarah Dalton and Tara Cavalline, UNC Charlotte. And, wrapping up the first half of the day, Dr. Peter Taylor gave us an overview of the CP Tech Centers highlighly anticipated Fresh Look Guide.

And we're just getting started!
