💜 WOWZA- In just 4 hours, together we raised an incredible $1,014.47 for the Alzheimer's Association at Pizza Ranch last night!

🎗 We are so grateful to everyone who came out to support the cause, shared a meal with us, and even placed online orders. Every order, donation, and conversation helped make a difference

💜 A huge thank you to Pahoua and her entire team for their generosity and hard work throughout the evening. We also couldn't have done it without our amazing volunteers who donated their time and energy to make the event a success - Brandon, Allison, Izzy, Bob & Kathy P., Marcie, Kathy T., Marilyn & Amy, Kathy & Les H., and Chris & Aimee!

🎗 The support from our community continues to amaze us - much love!

🌟 Meet our June Volunteer Spotlight, Elizabeth C.! 🌟

Elizabeth is from the Rosendale community and has been giving back to Tower View for many years! Her actvities have changed but most recently has been BINGO, which is always a hit! Thank you Elizabeth for prioritizing time to spend with our folks!

💚 What draws you to volunteering?
"I am was taught growing up that giving back to people and community is an important aspect of living a good life. I was drawn to TVAL because I LOVE old people. They have great stories and usually no filter."

💚 How do you describe TVAL to someone who has never heard of us?
"I would describe TVAL as a very large family. I have seen time after time the residents as well as staff helping each other. I hear the food is fantastic!"

💚 Favorite activity to do with the folks?
"I used to love doing a Bible study with hymn singing. The numbers started to dwindle, so Kim suggested Bingo, which has been an entirely different way to connect with the residents. We have lots of fun doing that, probably because I bring candy for prizes!

💚 A memorable resident?
"Gib (Sandy Grade's father). He was always telling me stories about living in the Florida Keys. I actually brought him an atlas so we could look at all those little Florida Key towns together. Oh...He also had a dog name Shane. How was that allowed? See what I mean...family atmosphere."

💚 A hobby of yours?
"I love to enjoy the outdoors doing gardening, walking, riding my cool yellow bike and ringing the bell."

💚 Favorite quote?
"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24. a great reminder to find joy in each day."

Today we are celebrating two of our amazing staff as they officially graduated high school - Natalie + Anya! 🎓✨

We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and all they have accomplished — not only in school, but also while caring for and supporting our residents! They both graduated with Magna Cum Laude and members of National Honor Society and they both will continue on into the helping field 💚

Please join us in congratulating these incredible graduates on this huge milestone and wishing them all the best in their next chapter! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for them. 🎉👏
