"Verdell worked as an Industrial Engineer at Fischbein, LLC for 45 years. He and Doris made a difficult decision to leave their family and relatives to relocate from Minneapolis, MN to Statesville, NC in 1994 to continue his devotion to the company and his career."

Michael J. Pitzl, age 76, of Lino Lakes: Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 12 at 11 AM at the Church of St. Genevieve Parish Community Center in Centerville.

"He first worked at Snyder Pharmacy but eventually made the switch to Walmart, where his career really took off. Through a series of promotions, he found himself and family living in Bentonville, Arkansas as the Senior Director of Sam’s Club pharmacies, working at the Walmart home office. He and Kathy made the decision to move back to Minnesota when their grandkids started showing up, and he finished his career as the Director of Pharmacy at HCMC."

George H. Krienke, age 94, of Roseville: Memorial service on Sunday, May 31 at 2 PM at Mueller-Bies (Roseville).

"George started the Rice Pet Clinic and Hospital in 1962 when he purchased 5 acres of land on the corner of Rice Street and County Rd C in Little Canada. By 1975 he built and moved into his new clinic. The building was christened with a formal cocktail party in the lobby."
