Mission complete!! Creating this sign has been a crazy amount of work, patience and self reflection. I started this project last summer and steadily worked on it and we finally completed it and hung it yesterday on my birthday.
I wanted a sign to let clients and students know they were in the right place, but also an accent for our home. Building my business in our home is an adventure in itself. A delicate balance of creating a space for clients that feels safe, professional and comfortable, but also maintaining it as our home and place we live and exist.
We welcome so many types of energies and people into our home and want to make sure it is protected, safe and stable for all those who enter.
Hand painted, resin poured, sealed and UV protected. painting each circle was a journey on its own. It provided many teachings on the intricacies and sacred geometry of the Flower of Life. Not only was the sign a big project, but redoing the entire flower bed was a feat in itself. Huge shout out to Chain O Lakes Home and Garden Greenhouses and Eve Olsen for all her plant and garden knowledge to help me pick out the perfect ones. She carries a wealth of plant wisdom.
There were plenty of oh s**t moments and whoopsies but it all came together beautifully. This is by far the coolest piece I have ever co-created as a collaboration between the hubby and I. He brought his skills of carpentry, heavy lifting, measuring and comfort when I was having a moment lol to make sure it all fell into place.
