Three years ago today, we said goodbye to our former President and CEO, James Laham.

It’s hard to believe three years have passed since God called him home at just 50 years old after a courageous fight with cancer. While time continues to move forward, there isn’t a day that goes by that he isn’t remembered.

James was more than a leader—he was an incredible husband, step-father, son, brother, uncle, friend, mentor, and one of the kindest people you could ever hope to meet. His compassion, generosity, and dedication to both Sullivan’s and the people around him continue to inspire us every day.

“If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.”

Today, we honor James, celebrate the legacy he left behind, and remember the countless lives he touched. Though he is deeply missed, he will forever remain in our hearts and always be a part of the Sullivan’s family.

Forever remembered. Forever loved.

This Independence Day is especially meaningful as our nation begins celebrating America’s 250th Birthday (1776–2026) — honoring the people, communities, and freedoms that have shaped our country for generations.

As a family-owned business serving Massachusetts since 1976, we are grateful for the trust our patients, customers, and healthcare partners place in us every day.

50 years in business, one unforgettable Marathon Monday. 🏃‍♂️💙

This year, Sullivan’s Pharmacy proudly partnered with three incredible charities and together raised over $70,000. We had four runners take on Boston—two supporting Dana-Farber, one running for One Summit, and one for Boston Medical Center.

An amazing accomplishment and a powerful reminder of what community, commitment, and purpose can do. We couldn’t be more proud of these four young men and the causes they ran for.

Here’s to celebrating our past, giving back in the present, and running toward the future.

As Sullivan’s Pharmacy celebrates 50 years of serving our community, we are proud to support a cause that means so much to our family.

This April, our Vice President Martin Laham will be running the 2026 Boston Marathon as part of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge in honor of his uncle, James Laham — former CEO of Sullivan’s Pharmacy and the son of our founder, Gregory Laham.

James led Sullivan’s with incredible heart, dedication, and pride in the community we serve. After bravely battling cancer, he passed away in 2023 at just 50 years old. His leadership, kindness, and legacy continue to shape who we are every day.

Every mile of the 26.2 miles to Boston is run in his memory and in support of Dana-Farber’s mission to defy cancer.

We are also proud to share that Sullivan’s Pharmacy will be matching donations to help further Dana-Farber’s life-saving cancer research.
