Today we celebrate an incredible milestone and say "thank you" to someone who has faithfully served A Beacon of Hope for more than 20 years.

Over the past two decades, Susan has volunteered in countless ways, always stepping in wherever she was needed with a servant's heart and a smile. Most recently, she has been the welcoming face at our front desk and the caring voice answering patient calls each week.

"Susan epitomizes the heart and soul of our mission! Through her faithful service for all of these years, Susan has been so instrumental in getting patients in our doors and making them feel welcomed! Only in heaven will Susan know the full impact of her dedication, prayers and loving service!"-Suzy

Although today was Susan's last day serving as a weekly volunteer, she will continue to be an important part of our Beacon family, and we are so thankful for her faithful service and the countless lives she has impacted over the past two decades.

Help Us Train Our Medical Team

Are you approximately 4–7 weeks pregnant?
We're looking for a few volunteers to come in for an ultrasound scan on Friday, July 10 to help train members of our medical staff. If that date does not work for you, we would love for you to still sign up so we can contact you when future dates become available.

This is a wonderful way to support the women we serve by helping our team continue to develop and refine their ultrasound skills.

Please note: This scan does not replace a doctor's appointment, prenatal care, or an ultrasound with your healthcare provider. It is an opportunity to help our staff receive additional hands-on training under supervision.

Meet Priscilla, our incredible Prevention Coordinator at A Beacon of Hope!
For three years, Priscilla has faithfully led our SWAT prevention program—reaching thousands of students with truth, compassion, and practical tools to build healthy relationships and make confident choices.

This past school year alone, the program reached 6,960 students across 15 schools, creating space for honest conversations that are truly changing lives.

💬 “I felt safe and not judged.”

Priscilla’s leadership, passion, and heart for the next generation shine through in every classroom she steps into. Because of her, students are not only learning, but walking away with a new perspective on their worth and future.
