It was an honor to have Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine students as part of the Lovelace Regional Hospital team during this year’s Chaves County Health Expo!

Serving our community is always meaningful, and it was wonderful spending the day alongside these future physicians as we connected with the community members, shared health resources and promoted wellness together.

We are grateful these students are spending part of their medical education here in our rural community. We look forward to watching them grow throughout the coming years and are proud to play a role in supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Thank you for being part of our team. We are excited to see the impact you will make in the future of healthcare and can’t wait to see where your journey will take you.

Not every hernia looks or feels the same. Different types can develop in different areas of the abdomen or groin, but many share common symptoms like a visible bulge, discomfort or pain that worsens with lifting, coughing or standing.

If you notice these signs, don't ignore them. Schedule an appointment with your primary care provider to discuss your symptoms and determine whether you need additional evaluation or treatment.
