This September, Phoenix Senior Living communities are coming together for a special PSL Pays It Forward project in partnership with Atlanta Mission—and we’re inviting our families, friends, associates and community partners to join us!

Throughout the month, we’re hosting a Refurnish Project Drive benefiting My Sister’s House, Atlanta Mission’s shelter serving women and children as they work toward stability, independence and a fresh start.

Using the QR code on the attached flyer, you can purchase items from our curated wish list to help us refresh and renovate living spaces at My Sister’s House.

Even better? Every item purchased will be shipped directly to Atlanta Mission, and in October, members of the PSL Home Office team will roll up their sleeves and personally help install the items and transform these spaces.

At Phoenix Senior Living, we believe a safe, welcoming space can be an important part of beginning again—and together, we have an opportunity to create just that.

Some people shape an organization. Others shape an entire industry. Teri Marinko did both.

Teri was a true trailblazer in senior living — a visionary leader whose passion for innovation, branding, sales, and, most importantly, people helped redefine what excellence looks like. She mentored leaders, inspired teams, and reminded us that every interaction is an opportunity to make someone feel seen, heard, and valued.

"This is an awesome tribute to an even more amazing person," said her son, Jesse Marinko, CEO of Phoenix Senior Living. "I was lucky to have her as a mom and a leader to learn from. It's where I learned what culture should look like."
To honor her legacy, our Virtual Sales Agent — often the first warm welcome families experience when reaching out to Phoenix Senior Living — now proudly carries her name: Teri. Just as she made everyone feel seen, heard, and valued, Teri will continue to welcome families as they begin their journey with us.

Just like a canoe requires a coordinated effort to navigate the waters, our staff collaborates daily to ensure that we provide the best care and support to those we serve.
