Huge thanks to for this amazing Community Baby Shower. There were so many great resources for expecting and early postpartum families all gathered in one placešŸ„° The dads wearing watermelon race was hilarious! I enjoyed meeting so many and connecting with the community.
It would only let me tag 5šŸ¤£. I always enjoy Us pelvic floor therapists stick together!šŸ’Ŗ So much fun hanging out with the now Dr FlemingšŸŽ“ and give her all the šŸ“·credit for during my talk on labor and birth positions! I also had the best support from Chloe as my model, expecting the pink ballšŸ˜. Was really nice to meet a Webster trained Chiro at Active Care Chiropractic. I was with my fellow people!! Passionate about improving birth outcomes. So enjoyed talking with a few of the midwives The true Rockstars of birth!!šŸ¤© We all need support and doula support is proven to improve birth outcomes. Was so great meeting and I also was able to sit and soak up the knowledge of Bobbie Spurlock on perinatal mental health. Itā€™s not just physiology! Birth is a mental, physical, and spiritual experience! Our mental health can greatly be impacted, but there is hope with having caring individuals trained in this area. I learned about creating a postpartum planšŸ¤Æ, makes so much sense! Have a list of support groups and resources before you even need them. Thankful for being apart of this event and for creating the great handouts and talking up the importance of pelvic floor therapy. Thanks to for the great images for showing birth stations and all the important ligaments in full utero šŸ¤“

Iā€™ll be giving a short education session on birth and labor positions at 11:30. I get to šŸ¤“out on the physiology of birth and talk about the pelvis. I will also have a table set up and will be ready to chat all day about the benefits of pelvic floor therapy surrounding supporting birth.
