Technique Tuesday!

Here, we are doing facial dry brushing for Lymphatic massage. Done with light pressure and following a specific pattern, dry brushing after clearing the lymph nodes, will help to eliminate swelling and restore circulation to the skin.

Incredibly relaxing, this technique can be done at home as well as in session! I do recommend to do that to improve skin tone and eliminate "puffy" eyes and face/jaw pain.

Technique Tuesday! This is a great example of a Swedish technique that is done with LIGHTER pressure, but delivers a POWERFUL punch! 🥊🥊

Cross-fiber friction. ---|||---}

Using the Olecranon process of the Ulna
[that tiny bone sticking out of the elbow] with precision ~ like a pin point ~ the therapist will work perpendicular to the natural fiber pattern of the muscles.

Here, I am working horizontally on the cervical musculature of the neck.

⚠️This is not a technique that should be done at home, as there are many endangerment sights, nerves, and major blood vessels in this region and an advanced knowledge of anatomy is necessary to successfully execute cross-fiber friction. 🧠
