Huge shoutout to Cheyenne and her partner-in-crime, Judge Judy, for absolutely crushing it at the Royal Crown Barrel Race in OKC! 🐴✨ They brought the Texas Panhandle heat and showed everyone how it's done.

We love seeing our APC family do what they love outside the office. Turns out, Cheyenne is just as good at navigating barrel turns as she is at helping our physicians!

Joint pain is easy to dismiss at first. Maybe it’s a stiff morning, a knee that aches more than it used to, or hands that don’t move as smoothly. Degenerative joint disease, also known as osteoarthritis, often develops gradually as cartilage wears down over time.

As joints change, movement can feel tighter and pain may become more frequent. It’s a common condition that affects more than just older adults. The earlier it’s addressed, the more options there are to help manage discomfort and protect mobility.

Treatment focuses on how your joints are actually functioning and may include physical therapy, medication, or joint focused care tailored to your needs.

Degenerative Disc Disease at Night: Why Pain Gets Worse

Degenerative disc pain often becomes more noticeable at night, making it difficult to get comfortable and stay asleep. As the spine settles and movement decreases, weakened discs and irritated nerves can create more pressure, leading to stiffness, aching, and ongoing discomfort.

Understanding the cause of nighttime back pain is the first step toward relief. Treatment options can range from lifestyle changes and physical therapy to advanced pain management solutions designed to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and get better rest.

Giving back to those who served is something that means a lot to our team. We were proud to spend time at the VA, serving veterans and showing appreciation in a small way for the sacrifices they’ve made for our country.

This is something we try to do often because support should go beyond the clinic walls. Thank you to our veterans for your service.
