Sometimes I wonder what this girl would think if I could go back and tell her all of the things she was going to experience in life. All of it. The happiness, the tragedies, the peaks, the valleys, the joy, the parties, the fun... I wonder what she would think if I told her what her future looked like? Would she change anything? What if I could just share a few stories, would she look at me like I’m effin nuts? Yeah, probably that last one…..DEFINITELY that last one. Lol.

Somewhere along the way, many of us were taught to look outside ourselves for the answers. What I’ve come to realize is that almost everything I offer - prenatal yoga, childbirth education, doula support, sound baths, Wild Moon Mavens, retreats, and community - is really about the same thing: it’s about helping women reconnect to their own wisdom. The kind of wisdom that lies just below the surface. The wisdom that was never actually lost. It’s just been hiding behind all the noise.

I’ve heard it said but never really experienced it until starting 2 years ago. “Love what you do and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Sure, there’s fatigue, bad moods, days when I’d rather stay in bed. Yeah, somedays my teaching is off or I……ya know…..have a stye AND a black eye! 🙄 but whatever it is, I put my key in the door and my heart swells, I feel lighter, and just love it. Period. It’s just that simple. It’s a place unlike any other. A place where buzzwords are bullsh*t, nobody cares if you have makeup on, have coffee breath, or you’re wearing the same clothes as yesterday. It’s just a raw and real environment where the masks come off and we just breathe. Come see for yourself.

I had SO much fun at the .maternalwellnessfair yesterday. I was super sleepy after a weekend full of events but this was the perfect way to end the weekend. I got to see some good friends and make some new friends! Always love being around the fabulous .skylerjc
