Minor cuts and scrapes are common but knowing where to go for care can make all the difference in healing properly and avoiding complications.
Visit urgent care for wounds that may need stitches but have controlled bleeding, or when you're unsure if it's more serious. Go to the ER if bleeding won't stop, the cut is deep or contaminated, or you can see muscle or bone.
