High Intensity Exercise can be a valuable therapy tool for pediatric OT practitioners, not only from a physical, emotional and confidence perspective, but also as a change agent for improving sensory processing skills.

The hardest part of running groups is not always running the group.

It is filling it.

You can have the best idea.

A great clinician.
A beautiful sensory gym.
A strong clinical reason for the group.
Families who say, “That sounds amazing.”

And still not have enough registrations.

This is the part clinic owners do not always say out loud.

You thought, “If we build it, they will come.”

But then you announce the group, send one email, post once on social media, and wait.

And the registrations trickle in slowly, or not at all.

That does not mean families do not need the group.

It usually means they did not clearly understand the problem the group solves.

Parents do not sign up because we say “movement group.”

They sign up because their child is struggling with regulation, confidence, strength, peer connection, transitions, frustration tolerance, or participation.

The offer has to speak to what families are already worried about.

That is one of the reasons EXERSHINEkids is so valuable for clinic owners.

You are not starting with a blank page.

The group framework is built.
The protocols are ready.
The structure is defined.
The marketing support is included.
The messaging is clearer.

Instead of creating the group first and hoping families come, you learn how to identify the families who already need it and offer them something that makes sense.

If you want to build groups with both clinical structure and marketing support, the EXERSHINEkids Training and Certification Program is where to start.

You’re not wondering if you should offer groups.

You’ve already made that decision.

Now you’re trying to figure out how to actually run them…
without blowing up your schedule, overwhelming your team, or creating a program that falls apart after 3 weeks.

Because this is where most clinics get stuck:

No clear structure for sessions
Inconsistent delivery between therapists
Staff who aren’t confident leading groups
Programs that take more energy than they’re worth

So the idea sits there…or gets tested once and dropped.

That’s not a demand problem.
It’s a systems problem.

When your groups are built on a clear, repeatable model, they stop feeling like “extra work” and start functioning like a real part of your clinic.

That’s exactly what we focus on inside the training + certification how to run exercise-based groups that your team can confidently deliver without chaos.

If you’re ready to actually implement this inside your clinic,
comment GROUPS and I’ll send you the details.

You already know exercise works.

So let’s be honest for a second, why aren’t you using it consistently in your sessions?

It’s not because you don’t care.

It’s not because you’re not a good clinician.

It’s because:

You don’t have a clear structure to follow

It feels chaotic trying to “fit it in”

You second-guess if you’re doing it right.

So you default back to what feels easier…even if it’s less effective.

That’s the gap.

Not knowledge.

Implementation.

Inside this intro training, you’ll see exactly how to start using exercise as a treatment modality without overhauling your entire session or guessing your way through it.

If you’re ready to stop thinking about it and actually start using it…

Comment EXERCISE and I’ll send you the link.

This is exactly why I believe so deeply in the EXERSHINEkids framework. Movement is not a break from learning, it can be a powerful way to prepare the brain for learning. When kids get the right kind of exercise and sensory input, we often see better regulation, attention, readiness, and participation. There is so much more to movement than just “getting energy out.”

03/01/2026

High intensity exercise is not a reward.
It is not a break.
It is not filler.

It is the intervention.

When a child is dysregulated, underpowered, impulsive, or avoidant, we cannot build fine motor precision or executive functioning on top of a nervous system that is not ready.

In this clip you are watching:
• Bilateral coordination
• Core activation
• Cardiovascular output
• Motor planning
• Working memory
• Frustration tolerance

This is regulation through output.

If you want to understand how to structure intensity in a way that is clinically sound, progressive, and measurable, that is exactly what we teach inside EXERSHINEkids training.

If you are considering the March 20th EXERSHINEkids Training, you may be wondering a few things.

What if I have never run groups before?

This training walks you through structure, flow, cueing, equipment, and progression. You are not expected to already know how to do this. You are trained step by step so you can lead with confidence.

What if I can’t fill my groups?

We’ve got you covered. You will be learning about internal and external marketing strategies. We include website and social media templates in our portal. And you have direct messaging access to me for individualized support and troubleshooting.

What about the investment?

A well run EXERSHINEkids group can generate significant annual revenue while serving multiple children at once. More importantly, it gives you a sustainable service model that reduces one to one burnout and increases clinical impact.

When you look at the cost of continuing to operate without a structured group system versus implementing one that is already built, tested, and refined, the long term return becomes very clear.

You are not purchasing a course.

You are investing in a framework that can change the way you practice.

If you have specific questions about fit, equipment, staffing, or revenue projections, please book a call, and we can talk through it!
