Kathy will be remembered for her gentle heart, her devotion to family, her strong faith, and the way she made everyone feel cared for. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Dr. M. David Chambers officiating. The family will receive friends and guests from 2:00 till 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026 at New Life Independent Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Whitt and the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and guests from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2026 at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services and other times at the home.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Elliott, Allen Foster, Steven Foster, Duncan Hardy, L.D. Powell, and Reed Riddle. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Powell.
